Drew Franyo and Suzie Webster have been at the forefront of "Green" in Charleston since they started their business and formulated a network (portal) of environmentally friendly companies and eco-minded consumers.  Drew and Suzie's trusted reputation of being the Green Resource for Charleston was established via TV shows (Low Country Live, Fox 24); various print publications (Charleston Magazine, Post and Courier, The Charleston City Paper and Daniel Island News); the local home & remodeling shows and their Green Resource Center (over 30 live displays).  Drew and Suzie's different portals of "Green" Information earned them the "Best of" award for 2007 and 2008 and the recognition, as "Innovators of the Year 2008", by their peers, in the Charleston Regional Business Journal. 

After meeting Stratton Lawrence and Blair Barna from the Charleston City Paper, they conceived the idea of putting on a truly green event.  More than just an opportunity to promote sustainability and support local businesses, the Green Fair needed to be a waste free endeavor.  Together with the support of Blair and the Charleston City Paper, a successful 2008 Charleston Green Fair launched with over 5000 people in attendance at Marion Square Park and 95% of their waste being diverted from the landfills.
